Reply Temperature — Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 30, 2026
Reply Temperature ("the App") suggests replies that fit a message you received. This policy explains what information the App processes and how it is protected.
1. Information We Process
The App has no sign-up and does not collect directly identifying personal information such as your name, email, or phone number. To generate reply suggestions, it processes:
- The "received message" text you enter and your reply settings (relationship, tone, language).
- An anonymous identifier: the App creates a random anonymous ID and stores it on your device to operate the service and prevent abuse (not linked to your real identity).
- Device/app integrity signals: Google Play Integrity processes device and app integrity information to prevent abuse.
The App does not access other personal data on your device such as contacts, location, photos, or call logs.
2. Purpose of Use
- Analyzing the message you enter to estimate the conversation mood ("temperature") and to generate reply candidates.
- Preventing fraud and abuse.
- (If you enable it) reply reminder notifications — these run only on your device and send no data externally.
3. Third-Party Processing and International Transfer
To generate replies, the message you enter and your settings are sent through BirdLab's Cloudflare Workers API to Google's generative AI service (Google Gemini) and processed there. The App also uses Google Play Integrity for integrity verification.
- Recipient/processor: Cloudflare, Inc., Google LLC and its affiliates
- Data processed: your input message and reply settings, anonymous identifier, device/app integrity signals
- Processing location: Cloudflare and Google's global infrastructure (including countries outside the Republic of Korea)
- Cloudflare's processing follows the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google's processing follows the Google Privacy Policy.
- The App uses Google AI services on a paid (pay-as-you-go) plan; in this case your input is not used to train Google's AI models.
4. Storage and Deletion
- Analysis results and app settings are stored only in your device's local storage and are not kept on the operator's servers.
- A temporary cache that reduces repeated identical requests expires automatically after about 24 hours.
- You can delete data anytime via "Delete all history" in the App, and uninstalling the App removes all data stored on your device.
5. Your Rights
Because there is no account, data stored on your device can be managed and deleted by you directly (delete history or uninstall). For other requests, contact us below.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
7. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS), and the Cloudflare Workers API plus Google Play Integrity verification help block abnormal access. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
8. Advertising
- The current version may serve Google AdMob ads.
- During ad delivery, Google may process advertising identifiers, approximate device information, and ad interaction data.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised due to legal or service changes; any changes will be announced through the App or this page.
